"When I like it's exclusive, I do not want a third person in my relationship. Sorry, but I can not pretend." Sasuke Uchiha.

Prologue

Sasuke entered the door of the jewelry shop and his companion sighed tiredly before he followed suit. It was the sixth one since this morning and honestly, Kabuto was tired of following him. The eccentric white-haired had certainly never accompanied a woman to shop, but it probably looked a lot like this: seeing her spend hours in front of articles, inspect them from top to bottom to ultimately buy nothing and eventually go out, buying nothing; the same thing was then repeated in another shop. He did not say a word, tired of being ignored, and contented himself with looking at the Uchiha who was fixing certainly more than was necessary the different rings of the window, while the salesgirl was giving details of the precious stones used.

"That one!" Sasuke exclaimed at once, looking at the pink diamond mounted on the gold ring. "This one is perfect and I'm sure she'll love it. "

Kabuto at his side could not repress a whistle at the sight of all the zeros on the small cardboard of the sign, while the Uchiha received from the seller the jewel in his hands hands to contemplate more of its beauty.

"It sure is not cheap!"

"It's a rare diamond," the saleswoman argued. "Monsieur has good eyes. It goes well with any type of skin. "

"And after spending five years abroad, do you just plan to go out and make a proposal?" The silver-haired man taunted. He had never met the Haruno, but he still knew enough about this young woman to describe her without problems. It is to say if the Uchiha spoke about her. He never tired of doing so!

"If you're here to undermine my morale" Sasuke eventually, tired of the disparaging comments of the one at his side, "you can go back to Orochimaru. "

The young man was strangely silent for the rest of the day after that, just following the Uchiha as the other looked to buy more things. After all, it was not his problem if the raven-haired man has decided to break his own feet with marriage! It would make more room for him in their apartment when he leaves.

***

From the moment she saw Kurenai crossing the hall, pushing in a cadis filled with cardboards, Hinata knew that it did not announce anything good. And, two more hours, nose still in the books that had just left her superior, she could not have been more right. The brunette was still scanning them to enter the machine but was still halfway through the end. That's to say if there were many! And the evening was already falling. Her belly sang the air of hunger and the young woman remembered that indeed, she had taken nothing since morning.

Naruto, would he wait for dinner? She blushed at this thought. Sweet as he was, he would certainly do it.

She did not want him to be hungry by her fault, so she distanced herself a moment from the huge scanner and by of its noise at the same time. Taking out her cell phone, she clicked the quick access bouton, blushing a little at the thought of her boyfriend. The device rang and eventually hit the answering machine. Was he in the shower? The girl asked herself for a moment and praying for luck, she tried again. Hinata heard the tonality twice, before finally catching her boyfriend's breathless voice on the other end of the line, as if he had run. Did he do exercises on their exercise bike?

"Hello? "

"Honey," she smiled. "Do not tell me you took me seriously last week about your belly? "

Last Sunday she dragged her boyfriend out of bed for him to do sports with her for once. Since university, they had not done it together, and last week seemed like a good opportunity to renew this tradition. But Uzumaki wanted to sleep late, so she had to resort to a little lie to motivate him. A small comment on his physique that would be padded and a slight comparison with the Uchiha him, who had abs well drawn on his recent photos had managed the miracle.

An abnormal noise from the machine a few steps away from her forced her to cut off the conversation and the blonde's response to her teasings.

"I wanted to warn you that I'll be home late tonight, do not wait for me. "

"OK," he agreed easily, and Hinata pursed her lips. She wanted him to protest a little more. "Do not forget to eat" he added and she smiled at that, at least he was worried about her. But too soon that smile froze and disappeared ad she heard a woman's voice whispering on the other end of the line. She could not discern exactly what was being said, but the brunette felt her heart sank. "Bye" and he hung up.

"Bye," Hinata repeated to the tonality, trying to convince herself that her boyfriend did not sound relieved to hear that she would not be here anytime soon.

These days it was just complicated to pretend that everything was fine, while at the other end of the line she sometimes heard a woman's voice downcast when he was supposed to be alone, the voice of the one he has never forgotten.

The voice of his best friend: Sakura Haruno. And Hinata was trying to convince herself that whatever was happening between them was still innocent.

And even so, Hinata thought, putting her phone in her pockets, Sasuke would be back soon and everything would be fine. Would it not?
