The Moon To The Sun

(The pic isn't mine)

Description:

She used to think that he hated her, that he was taking pleasure in her sufferings. She was wrong she understood, alas too late. His cold and harsh words were actually for her wellbeing; his furrowed brows, glacial eyes and stern expressions weren’t because of distaste but were the result of his own unforgiving life.

“Thank you” she wanted to say. “I’m sorry” she wished she had said at that time and all those others where she had wronged him, knowingly or not.

Will he have a thought for her after her death? Will he even know she died? Will he care? How sad it will be if him, the last person who considered her as a human being, never visit her grave! She had so much to say yet not the possibility to do so. How bitter an end! Under such a beautiful sky and dazzling sun to suffer that cruel a fate!

Surprisingly here she was once again, a three-year-old child.

The brother she loved, the sister she admired, the parents she longed for were still around. Was fate so cruel that she went back just to relieve her misery once more?

Don’t go, she cried, don’t go. Father, mother, who are you letting your daughter with, brother, sister, who are you letting your younger sibling with? If you have to go, why not take me away?

No more! In this lifetime no more death, no more pain, no more powerlessness. And if she gets to meet with her sun once more, this time she’ll be wiser.
